TPI manufactures integrally-formed, extruded plastic nets, which are used for reinforcement, containment and separation applications by a wide range of manufacturers in major markets. Being integrally-formed, these nets offer superior dimensional and functional stability in use. During extrusion, a variety of additives can be used to provide specific color, photo-degradation, bio-degradation and ultra-violet light inhibitor requirements. In their end-use application, these nets can be either oriented or unoriented. The orientation process aligns the polymer molecules into a linear formation with a more rigid structure than in an unoriented polymer. This results in a class of products that exhibit an increased tensile strength in both the machine and cross-machine direction, yet at reduced unit weight due to the increased aperture openings.
